This is an open letter to the Honourable Minister of Transport Mr Fitzgerald Hinds urging him to set up a committee on behalf of the Government that will negotiate the rise in transportation fares. It is difficult for the travelling public who face the brunt of these increases without proper consultation.
While I understand the owners of these vehicles have to survive also, many times they meet and raise fares while the public salary remains stagnant. Mr Minister, please set up this committee to will meet with all stakeholders as a means to ensuring a workable solution.
