The ASJA president general Yacoob Ali has spoken the truth when he explained that muslims should be guided by the Holy Qur’an and not in accordance with any other school of thought or practices.
The very leaders who are now trying to discourage people from joining ISIS, are the very same leaders who would go to a lecture in a mosque where the Imam or Moulana would preach unfounded doctrines and rituals, unqur’anic beliefs and punishments that is not advocated nor supported by the Qur’an. And they would sit and absorb every false belief without saying or doing anything about it.
The majority of muslims fail to question their inherited practices and beliefs as they forsake the study of the Qur’an in favour of the blind practices of their forefathers or follow the instructions of their imams without question, being blindly led by the majority.
Most muslims are of the belief that it is righteous to follow arabs and to look like them by having long beards, long gowns with towel wrap around their head, when Qur’an says it is not even righteous to turn your faces to the east or west, but it is righteous to believe in Allah and the last day.
To believe in the Angels and the Book and the Messengers and to spend your money for kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer and for those who ask.
And why would any muslim want to imitate the arabs when Allah in the Qur’an said that the arabs are the worst in rejection and hypocrisy, and most likely not to know the limits of what Allah has revealed to his messenger. Allah is knower wise.
It is the arabs who built a massive mosque over the grave of the prophet along with two of his companions. When this same prophet cursed the jews and the Christians for worshipping in a building that has graves in it.
It is the arabs who invented fake sayings of the prophet and divided the religion into thousands of sects. Yet we send our sons and daughters to the arab countries to learn about the religion when we always have Allah with us as the best teacher speaking to us through revelations of the Qur’an.
Some of these very leaders who know the religion have allowed these fake teachings of the arabs to flourish and stifle the guidance of Allah. They have allowed a monster to grow with many heads and now its beyond their control.
They are now trying to close the door when the horses have bolted. It’s no wonder Allah in the Qur’an has called some people deaf, dumb, blind and more stone-hearted than the hardest stone on earth. There are many who went away to study and become Imams and Maulanas and muftis who read the Qur’an but have no true understand of the commands of Allah.
They prefer to believe in fake hadiths of the prophet and the teachings of men. That is why Allah in the Qur’an has likened these individuals to donkeys carrying loads of books.
