San Juan Jabloteh, last season’s triple champions (U-13, U-15 & U-17) in the T&T Youth Pro League, and Defence Force were the only clubs to enjoy a perfect day with wins in all divisions last Sunday.

Jabloteh defeated St Ann’s Rangers 5–2, 3–0 and 2–1 in the U-14, U-16 and U-18/Reserve divisions, respectively, at the Dibe Recreation Ground, Long Circular, St James, while less than ten minutes away Defence Force were 6–0, 3–1 and 4–3 winners in the respective age groups over Police FC at the St James Police Barracks Ground.

Marc Wharfe (25th, 35th and 69th minutes) scored a hat-trick for Defence Force U-14s, while team-mate Justin Araujo-Wilson (65th and 70th minutes), who scored six goals in his team’s 11–0 win over North East Stars a week ago, grabbed a second-half double. Jeremiah Williams (28th minute) also got on the score sheet as Defence Force U-14s completed their second win from as many games to move to maximum six points, the same as Jabloteh.

However, Morvant Caledonia United Under-14 players were the big winners on the day when they defeated Club Sando 7–1 at Frederick Settlement Ground in Caroni. Ephraim Brown fired Club Sando ahead in the 23rd minute, but the little “Stallions” levelled the scores 1–1 before the break and ran away with the comfortable victory in the second half.

Randy Antoine (66th and 70th minutes) finished with a second-half double for Morvant Caledonia, while Terry Morris (31st minute), Trent Weekes (50th minute), Nickell Alexander (68th minute), Terrell Wiley (70th minute), and Josiah Edwards (deep in stoppage-time) ended with a goal each.

But Club Sando fired back by holding Morvant Caledonia to a 2–2 draw in the Under-16 division before securing a 3–1 win in the Under-18/Reserve division. Central FC whipped W Connection 4–1 on Wednesday at Couva, led by a Nicholas Dillon hat-trick. Central FC got the maximum six points.

Matches continue on Sunday.
