Father, put a hand! Where is this physically disabled, unemployed lady going to find $2,500 for bail? And even though she says: “I can handle my stories,” that lady does not look like she could handle 12 months in jail.
She said that she “bought (marijuana) to ease up the pain” in her feet, and she could be telling the truth. People have been seeing the countless evidence-based medical journal articles, written by countless credible medical experts, about marijuana for effective pain relief, right?
Father, put both hands on the 11-year-old charged for possession of marijuana for trafficking. Grant him serenity to come to terms with being separated from his mother. Grant him courage to free his mind and fill him with confidence that his hand is divinely guided as he writes SEA in May. People understand their importance and purpose in the future of humanity, right?
Father, bless the CJ’s eyes which have been endlessly taking a “long, hard look” at policy regarding the decriminalisation of marijuana. Perhaps you could lift his eyes higher to see that as long as marijuana is illegal, our national social (and economic) integrity will continue to collapse because hundreds of people, like this lady and this boy, are being charged and fined and jailed, annually, for marijuana-related offences.
And since both your hands are busy, Father, perhaps you could grant the CJ’s hands the vigour and virtue to actually start working at writing policy reformation to decriminalise medicinal marijuana. Given everything we know, that’s a reasonable request, right?
