I think that it is insensitive and cruel for the Government and private companies to send workers home because of the economic situation.
Instead of sending workers home why not cut salaries by ten per cent or a five per cent? I am sure that workers will be happy with half of a loaf, because it is better than none.
What do you all expect people to do when they have families to take care of, especially if only one person is the bread winner in the family?
How will they manage to provide food, pay rent or mortgage and to send their children to school? It is disheartening.
Is it not easier to cut salaries than to send workers home? I am sure workers will adjust themselves with a pay cut.
Come on, have a heart for these workers that you all put on the breadline. Cut their salaries and give them back their jobs.
