Orchard signs new ambassador

Orchard has formalised its relationship with soca star Nadia Batson and officially welcomed the artiste to its family. 

She joins the Orchard Point Fortin Jammers as ambassadors of Nestlé T&T’s newest product, Orchard Calorie Conscious, launched in November last year. The partnerships are part of Nestlé’s investment in T&T’s cultural art forms and both acts will headline at the company’s Annual Health Fair in May. 

“I am proud to be part of the Nestlé family, and to bring awareness to this product—Orchard Calorie Conscious,” said Batson. 

She spoke of her weight-loss journey and the need for low-calorie products that aren’t only healthy, but taste good too. 

“I for one have diabetic genes—diabetes runs in my family, and that has been part of the reason for my lifestyle change. Thankfully, Nestlé has created Orchard Calorie Conscious, a low calorie option for people like me who want to eat and live healthily without sacrificing taste and flavour.” 

The drink is endorsed by the Diabetes Association of T&T, whose logo appears on the box. It aims to assist with weight management and overall health and wellness by offering a low-calorie juice option. This, Nestlé hopes, will help decrease obesity levels and thus, lessen the number of diabetes diagnoses in T&T. The product is also suitable for those already diagnosed with diabetes.
