Local software developer MCS Software Limited recently unveiled the latest instalment of its flagship payroll and human resource management solution, MicroPay 3.
The programme, part of a range of products offered by the company for use in small to large businesses, was originally created in T&T in 2000 and was designed to handle complex and time consuming tasks required by employers.
“MicroPay 3 is the culmination of many years of listening to our clients’ feedback and requests for additional features and functionality to make payroll processing easier,” said Kent Jeary, managing director.
“Now, we’ve packaged all of those great ideas into an even more comprehensive product that we’re all very proud of.”
Jeary said some of MicroPay 3’s new features were not possible previously because of the limitations of earlier technology. However, with the advancement of software development in recent years, MCS is now in a position to greatly enhance the application, making it a more powerful tool capable of further satisfying clients’ needs.
The enhancements were engineered by MCS’s experienced team of programmers who have more than 25 years in the business. Backed by a knowledgeable sales and support department, the team was able to improve on previous successes to deliver a product that is easier, faster, more efficient and more affordable than its predecessors.
Some of the new features of MicroPay 3 include the ability to interface with Microsoft Dynamics GP, advanced payroll filters, searches and descriptions, easier access to historical data, new ACH functionality and the ability to export to other popular applications such as Peachtree, QuickBooks and SAP.
The MicroPay line is in use in more than 1,000 companies, locally and regionally.
